                 PARTS OF SPEECH

The Parts of Speech are the classes into which words are divided according to their functions in a sentence.

     English grammar there are eight parts of speech but Article/ determiner is also added and they are nine parts of speech.
as- 

1 - Noun - A noun is the name of a person, place or a thing.
Ex- The Sun rises in the east.

2- Pronouns - pronoun is a word used in place of noun.
Ex- Rahul is intelligent. He is sincere also.

3- Adjective - An adjective is a word which qualities any noun and pronoun.
Ex- Saurabh is a brave boy.

4- Verb - A verb is a word used for saying something about a person,place or thing.
Ex-They cried loudly.

5- Adverb - An adverb is a word which qualities a Verb, Adjective or another Adverb.
Ex- She speaks politely.

6 - Preposition - A preposition is a word  which is used before noun and pronoun to show its relation to some other words in the sentence 
Ex- He is fond of  music.

7- Conjunction - A Conjunction is a word used to join together words, phrase or sentence.
Ex- Two and two make four.

8- Article - Articles are words that define a noun as specific or unspecific.Articles are definite and indefinite as- A, An and The.
Ex - I found a pen on the table.

9- Interjection - An Interjection is an exclamatory word, which shows some feelings.
Ex- Hurrah! We have won the match.

            SUBJECT - VERB - CONCORD                        ( Agreement ) This is only prepared to help the students to improve Grammar. It helps students to apply appropriate verb with subject. Students will be able to choose correct verb. The subject in a sentence is the person or things about which something is said. Rules -  1.  - The basic principle of the Subject- Verb agreement is that singular subjects need singular verb and  plural subject need plural verb. Ex -   Reena goes to school daily.          All  The teachers  are going on picnic. 2 -  When two or more  singular subjects are connected by ' and '  the plural verb will be applied.
