Q-1  " I will take the risk." What was the risk ? Why does the Narrated take it ?
Ans- The risk was to fly the old Dakota aeroplane  through the black storm clouds.
The narrator took the risk because he wanted to get home to be present  at the breakfast table.

Q-2 Describe the narrator's experience as he flew the aeroplane  into the storm.
Ans- As the narrator  flew his plane into the storm, everything went black. He could see nothing. The plane jumped and twisted in the air. He found that his compass was turning round and round.The other instruments like radio,also stopped to work. He was lost in the storm. Suddenly he saw another aero plane.The pilot of the plane waved at him, asking him to follow. There was only enough fuel to fly five or ten minutes in narrator's plane.So he decided to follow the other aeroplane .The pilot started going down and he followed.When he came out from the black storm, the other aeroplane disappeared from there.Now the narrator was safe.


Q-3 Why does the narrator say," I landed and was not sorry to walk away from the old Dakota....".
Ans- The narrator was very happy to land safely out of dark stormy clouds.
Therefore, he was not sorry to walk away for his plane.But he lamented because he could not thank his guide,his mentor, who saved him from that frightening situation.
It along with the mysterious aeroplane had saved his life.

Q--4 What made the woman in the control center look at the narrator strangely ?
Ans-    The woman in the control center looked at the narrator strangely, when he asked her about the other aeroplane and its pilot. She was puzzled and answered him that  except of his there was no other aeroplane seen on the radar.

Q- 5 Who do you think helped the narrator to reach safely?  Discuss this among yourselves and give reasons for your answer.
Ans- May it was narrator's own self or any supernatural power helped the narrator to reach safely.There was no other plane in the storm as the woman in control center  could see,only his plane was on the radar. In his fear, he might  have been hallucinating . He was a good pilot, it might possible that to see the condition his strength and his will power forced him to doto save his life.
