Ans- Two reasons make writing in a diary a strange experience for Anne Frank.First, she had not written anything like this before, and secondly, she thought that nobody is going to read or would be interested in her diary.

Ans- Anne wants to keep a diary because she had hardly any friend to confide in. She can't talk about day- to- day happening s. In keeping a diary she would do so.
Q-3 Why did Anne think she could confide more in her diary than in people ?
Ans-Anne thought that she could confide( believe) more in her diary than in people because she doesn't have a true friend to confide in.She doesn't treats the diary like others. But she would treat it as her best friend.Then diary would be more closer friend than any other.

Ans- Anne provides a brief sketch of her life. She thinks that no one would understand her stories in her diary if she did not write about her life.
Q-5 What tells you that Anne loved her grand mother ?
Ans- Anne's statement that no one could understand her intensity of love for her deceased grandmother indicates that she loved her grandmother very much. The lighting a candle for grandmother during her birthday is also a poignant reminder of her love for her grandma.
Q- 6 Why was Mr Keesing annoyed with Anne? What did he ask her to do ?
Ans- Mr Keesing was the Mathematics teacher of Anne. He was annoyed ( angry) with Anne because she was a very talkative girl. He warned her many times. But she couldn't stop talking.Then he assigned her extra homework.He asked her to write an essay on the subject, "A Chatterbox".
Q-7 How did Anne justify her being a chatterbox in her essay ?
Ans- In her essay she justified by giving two arguments. First, that chatting is a student's trait and second, that the inherited traits are not curable. Her mother talked as much as she did if not more. Nothing could be done about inherited traits.

Ans-Yes, I think that Mr Keesing was a strict teacher. He expected discipline and silence in his class while he was teaching.
In fact, he was a jovial kind of teacher. He cannot be entirely labelled as a strict teacher.He appears to be empathetic towards the children and their problems too.
Q- 9 What made Mr Keesing allow Anne to talk in class ?
Ans- Anne was always be able to justify her talkative nature every time she was punished by Mr Keesing. As punishment Three times he gave her topics to write essay. However, on each time ,he was impressed by the manner in which she presented her arguments. Finally, Mr Keesing accepted the fact that Anne would always be that way. Then she was allowed to talk in class.
